Such a cozy spot, we loved it. The food and drinks are pricier than in most cinemas though, so be prepared for that.

First opened in 1908, it’s one of the oldest cinemas still operational in Budapest. A very historic place with a nicely curated film selection. They show classics like Ghost in the Shell, Memento or Pulp Fiction, but also newer releases. And after watching a film, you can still grab a beer at the bar outside to discuss it and let it sink in a little. All in all, a great address to bring your date or visit with your buddies :)

Amazing place, if a little crowded, but that's a matter of preference. They mostly host old and "underground" movies, which is rare and amazing to see. They sell 5l popcorn buckets for ~2500 HUF, which is insane, drinks are expensive though. If you are intending to watch a popular movie, I advise you book your tickets in advance. All things considered, best movie experience ever, will return.

Love this area in Buda. Lots of local bars and this is a great one. Has a retro vibe and it seems to be where the cool kids hang out. It’s a little art house cinema, so the decor matches, and people often stay in the bar after a film. But it’s a great bar in its own right. A great spot to visit.
