Budapest District X is one of Budapest's 23 districts. Life in the capital moves at a big-city pace: businesses often keep longer hours than in smaller towns, many shops, bars and restaurants stay open late, and nonstop shops serve customers around the clock. The Danube banks, Buda Castle and Andrássy út are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Széchenyi, Gellért and Rudas baths and the ruin bars of District VII draw visitors all year. Public transport is run by BKK, with four metro lines, trams, buses and the HÉV suburban railway; on Friday afternoons and before long weekends the roads out of the city jam up, so leave extra time. In Budapest, BKK passes and tickets can be bought in the BudapestGO app, and parking in the centre is charged by zone, typically on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00.

nice place but a bit unknown to the general public

It is not a modern market - it's an eastern europen style. But not bad! The vegetable, bakery, the meat and milk products sellers also are good. The far east shops have the special feeling. The saturdays are full - on the other days it's not so busy.

It's a good place to get fresh food, meat, dairy produce or vegetables. Prices are cheap and the quality is usually quite high. There are also lots of different stores inside, so you can get a wide variety of items here. Since this is a market, most of the vendors are cash-only.

The market is good for buying veggies, fruits and other grocery stuff. Prices are quite reasonable. Haven't compared it with Spar or Aldi.

Recommended, If you want to find reasonable prices and most things you might be looking for in one place. On weekdays it is deserted, but the shops are open. It's marketplace is completely empty @ midweek.
