If you want to see the worst barmaid in whole Budapest come to Cheers pub. I don’t write review but this time I felt obliged. We came with 2 friends and waited 10 minutes in an empty bar because the barmaid preferred talking to her friends. We asked about what beer she could recommend. She barely answered us. She said this is the cheapest one. She is rude and loud, vulgar and when serving the beers she slammed them . And when she washes the glasses, she tries to make as much noise as possible. I guess this is what it looked like during the Soviet times. In other words she hates her work and customers. It was service at the bar but she requested tip. Cheap drinks doesn’t mean disrespectful attitude to customers. She’s the shame of this industry ; yelling at the bar continuously just like nothing matters for customers. Her name : Zita

What a great bar! The atmosphere alone is what is so inviting but so are the people and staff! It may be cheap but by god it’s cheerful😁 Zita was so welcoming and always had a smile on her face whilst serving us, we literally couldn’t have been happier with our two nights at cheers pub! What a great bar, would recommend to anyone that wants a great spot to watch sports with a great spot for beer and a great time!!

I went to this bar just to watch the World Cup matches since their prices were more reasonable, and you get to hang out with locals. Even so, some foreigners showed up too, and the vibe was really good overall. BUT be very careful – the woman working at the bar is an absolute nightmare. She has a horrible attitude, is rude when serving, and you can tell she's completely fed up with her job. Her whole work area was piled high with dirty glasses and cups, and when serving, she'd just yell at customers and say with this smug, bitter pride that she wasn't going to serve any more pints because she had no glasses left – but really it was because she couldn't be bothered to wash them. So she'd just leave customers unable to buy anything or force them to buy bottles instead. Sometimes she'd settle down and start washing the dishes, but she'd do it so grudgingly, almost slamming the glasses around like she was about to break them – they'd make such a loud noise that everyone would stare at her. Honestly, she's a ticking time bomb – she could snap at any moment. Other than that, the bar was fine – the bathrooms were clean and the overall atmosphere was good. Oh, and I almost forgot – she f

This is literally a real neighbor bar. If you're a regular everyone knows your name just like Cheers from the TV show. Prices are some of the cheapest you will find in Budapest. Make sure to tip your bartenders or buy them a shot. They are good people.
