The location is excellent — on a quiet street right in the city centre. It was our first time in Budapest, and during just a few hours of walking in the evening, we made it all the way to the Danube, where we enjoyed the most beautiful views! Along the way, we saw the Budapest Eye, St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Chain Bridge and the Shoes on the Danube Bank. The hotel was very peaceful, the other guests were considerate, and we couldn’t hear any noise from the street. The breakfast was excellent — delicious and with a great variety of choices. The staff were friendly and polite. Everything was absolutely wonderful. I will definitely recommend this place to others, and next time I’m in Budapest, I will choose to stay here again. Thank you for making our short stay so enjoyable!

We stayed for two nights in the fifth-floor apartment, which included breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very spacious, were very clean and there was plenty of room for the four of us! The value for money was excellent for Budapest! We would love to come back! Thanks for all!

Amazing hotel with great value for money. The rooms are extremely large, the beds are comfortable and the small kitchen is really handy. The breakfast is all you could ask for and there are enough options for vegetarian people (for vegans not so much). Located very central (on average 20min walk to major sites) with a tram stop (2min) and a metro station (7min) close by. We only had two small issues: Our room/apartment only had one bin (in the kitchen) far away from most of the rooms and the main bathroom. The workers use the courtyard to smoke, as a non-smoking family the smell did irritate us and we often had to close the windows. All in all we were very pleased with our stay here and would recommend it especially to families with young kids.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much! It is very well maintained, very modern, clean, located in close proximity to the sightseeing areas, for example, 20 min walk to St István castle ( where we went for the classical music concert), 5 min walk to the tram and metro station. The breakfast ( typical continental) was very good, although next time I probably will not take it as there are many places arito try food to different taste ( although of course having breakfast in the hotel saves your time). The hotel staff was very pleasant and willing to help ( Specifically, Andrea, special thanks to you, Andrea). The only thing which was not good- our room’s windows were looking on the street, and at night time for some reason, it was very noisy and sleep- disturbing). Also, there is no shampoo and hair conditioner in the shower, so the travelers must bring them on their own. However, overall, we would give this aparthotel a very high rate, I would say, 4.9. We stayed at City Home for 7 days and found it comfortable and clean. The decor in the room was very 1970s in colour, lots of dark brown and orange but it met what we needed. There was a kitchenette, with a hob, kettle, microwave and fridge, which was well stocked with a minibar of beers, wine, soft drinks and chocolate if you wanted them. Basic kitchen crockery, saucepans and cultery to rustle up a meal. There was also a good sized dinning table. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and the towels changed daily. There was a choice of different breakfasts and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is located very near the Jewish quarter and near a wealth of bars, restaurants and shops. Most of Budapests attractions are within a half an hours walk but if you prefer public transport, buses and trams run from just around the corner. If we were to go back to Budapest, we would definitely return to City Home.

Great place to stay in Budapest. Near the main activities and the most important places and squares. The apartment was very nice and most importantly very clean. Breakfast was great: a lot of choices between sweet and savory

We had a bit of a mixed start, but it turned into a very pleasant stay overall. When we first checked in, we were given a room that didn’t match our booking, which was a bit disappointing after a long journey. However, once we brought it to the attention of the reception staff, they handled the situation quickly and with great understanding. They were very accommodating and made sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction. The accommodation itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time in Budapest. The breakfast was excellent – a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. What really stood out was the kindness and helpful attitude of the staff. Thanks to their approach, what could have been a negative experience was turned into a positive one. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.
