Not even worth one star!!! What a disgrace this store is to the Spar brand I do hope the brand owners of spar pull the franchisee owner of the location up as they are damaging a good brand Considering the wage cost in Budapest is less than a third of Dublin why can the owner of this location not allocate enough staff Only self check out was available and two not working - no person checkout Result was a disaster a decision obviously made by the greedy franchisee owner Spar should get rid of them so their national brand is not damaged by its stores in Budapest Perhaps the owner should take flight to Dublin then they would see how to operate spar Shame on you Mr / Mrs owner !! The hygiene is also terrible Clutter behind the drinks fridge dirt on entrance ( days old not just from that day) and a sanitize holder that was maybe last cleaned before Covid !!! Edited after comment - the reply from the store tells you they have zero interest in my review of the really bad hygiene at the store lets update to don’t use the store as the food may not be good with the lack of senior management response to my original review !!! Shame on the Spar brand !!

Convenient location and open late. There is a large selection of products and self-checkout is available. The prices aren't low, but it's very convenient overall.

We were trying to translate some of the bakery products using Google lens, when one middle-aged female employee started shouting at us in Hungarian presumably thinking we were taking photos. We repeatedly tried to explain her we just wanted to understand what to buy but she kept shouting and made no attempt to understand our reasons. The younger employee helping at the self service checkout was very nice but I wouldn't go there again.

I wanted to avoid shopping in the Prima so I took an extra walk to SPAR. 1. PET return doesn't work, no reason why, also no information where the nearest PET point is. 2. The supermarket is chaotic, large baskets for shelf fill-up are all over the floor and only a few staff, working frantically, trying to keep up. 3. Nobody at the checkout counter, the self checkout is going incredibly slow. 4. No bag is allowed on the packing area, so I can't collect my items directly in my bag, I have to pile them on the packing "shelf" and then put them into my bag. 5. Self checkout stations stop after every 5-6 items and need staff action. 6. There was only one employee to supervise all five or six stations, which are peeping constantly. The poor man had to keep running between stations and put up with us, frustrated customers. I wish I had gone to the infamous Prima instead!

Just a good supermarket like most in the touristic centre. This one however, has a LOT of craft beers!
