About Dandár Gyógyfürdő
A Maróti Kálmán tervei alapján készült expresszionista fürdő 1930-ban nyitotta meg kapuit. Eleinte speciális, erre a célra kifejlesztett tartálykocsikkal, naponta szállították a gyógyvizet a Széchenyi, később a Paskál fürdőből. 1987-től a közeli Közraktár utcában található termálkútból nyerte a vizet, 2005 óta a fürdő saját kúttal rendelkezik. 2014-ben átalakításokat hajtottak végre a fürdőben, melyek a szolgáltatások körének bővítését eredményezték. A zárt udvarban két különböző hőfokú, élményelemekkel ellátott medence került kialakításra. A pince szint wellness részleggé alakult át, ahol szauna, gőzkamra, merülő medence és pihenőtér található. 2015 nyarán a már meglévő termál részleg is megújult.

This is for my time in Budapest in May 2026! Nice cheap quality bath! Water stations as well. Everybody was nice and welcoming!!! Remember two towels, one for drying and one to sit on for the Finnish sauna. Was my very first time for sauna etc and loved it! Had everything you would need. Steam rooms, Finnish Sauna, immersion pools. Heated inside and outside pools.

Every time I come to Budapest I go here. It is very nice, smaller, and less busy than the tourist thermal baths. Has an indoor and outdoor pass. Prices are around $12 for indoor only and ~$16/$17 for the full access. Completely reasonable. There are lockers for your personal items, simple to use. There is a small food selection ( I haven’t used) you can order and spend most of the day if you decide to

Speaking of Hungary, it’s famous for its thermal baths! But many places can be quite expensive. This bath, however, was very reasonably priced. There seem to be tickets for both indoor and outdoor areas, or for indoor only. This time, we went indoors and paid 2,400 Ft (about 1,200 JPY) per person. After entering, we received a wristband with a chip, which you use for accessing gates and lockers. The essentials are a swimsuit, sandals, and a towel. You can rent them, but the rental fees are much higher than the entrance fee, so I wouldn’t recommend it. The lockers and showers are unisex. When changing into your swimsuit, there’s a unisex fitting room for that. The indoor baths included pools marked as 20°C (cold), 35°C, and 38°C, plus a sauna. In reality, the pool labeled 35°C felt closer to 38°C, and the 38°C pool felt around 41°C. Even for Japanese people used to hot baths, it’s perfectly warm and comfortable. As a travel memory, I’d say it’s excellent value for the experience
