Clean rooms, very polite and friendly staff and a location that connects you to all the major sites within minutes. But avoid the rip off breakfast. For €22 per person you can eat at a lovely restaurant and still have change. Just walk down the road to find a host of better options.

Huge disappointment – this hotel definitely does not deserve 4 stars! Our stay at this hotel was a massive disappointment, and I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND it to anyone. Reception & Staff: The front desk staff is incredibly slow. Check-in took half an hour – without any payment involved, it was purely just to hand us the room keycard. On top of that, we were the only guests at the reception! Check-out then took another fifteen minutes. Pure disaster! Room & Amenities: The room wasn't entirely clean and looked very outdated overall. The beds are extremely soft, you just sink into them, and they squeak incredibly loudly with every single move. I don't think I've ever seen a smaller bathroom in a hotel – you could barely move in there. To top it all off, the AC was making strange, annoying noises all night, making it impossible to get any sleep. Breakfast: Another letdown. The coffee from the machine smelled highly suspicious, with a weird chemical odor, making it completely undrinkable. Parking (Absolute Bizarre): This is a whole story on its own. If you arrive after midnight, you're out of luck – the parking lot is already closed. Furthermore, their math makes zero sense: to t

A large group of us were visiting Budapest for the weekend and had an amazing stay at the Danubius Hungaria. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious and tidy. It's not luxury, but we had absolutely no problems. The most outstanding part of the holiday was the staff experience. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and patient. I happened to leave my phone in the taxi on the way to the airport when leaving (which I booked through the hotel) and I have never received such honest, eager and determined service to get it back from the staff (Andrew specifically). They did everything they could and successfully got my phone back to me in the UK. I cannot thank them enough.
