I highly recommend this shop; the team are incredibly welcoming, professional and very friendly. Everything is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated – thank you so much for the warm welcome and the exceptional work.

I had high hopes for this studio and even planned my trip to Budapest around getting tattooed here. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. The initial communication around pricing and what could realistically be done in the time booked was misleading, which left me out of pocket and really disheartened. Two weeks on, my tattoo has healed very poorly—it’s patchy and uneven, and clearly needs a touch-up already. I followed all proper aftercare, as I have with my many other tattoos, and have never had one heal this badly over the years. I’m honestly heartbroken by the result, especially after coming in with so much excitement and trust for this studio. This was by far the worst tattoo experience I’ve ever had. *I was not told it would take more than 2 days, we had 4 stencils ready at the start of the day and only got 2 done. One of my biggest issues was how misleading it was and I ended up realising halfway through the day we would not get it all done. The artist, Roka, took over an hour just to prepare everything. I’ve never experienced a tattoo artist take so long to get ready. * I left with a smile because what else could I do? I got scammed and I’m not brave

Great experience with Teddy who was very patient with my indecision and changing my mind and worked with me until we found a tattoo I really liked. Professional but friendly, will definitely be back.

Late completion of review... cause life happens. I'm gonna start with a huge Thank You! to Suzie, she is Amazing! At the end of May my best friend and I where in Budapest on vacation. I loved it so much I decided I wanted a permanent memory...yes, of course on our last day. I saw a sign for "Dark Art Tattoo" we arrived about 45mins before closing. Suzie took a pic of an eye that I had been carrying around on my phone for quite some time...I have a thing for eyes. Suzie personalized it, making it mine and I love it today as much as I did then. I saw some amazing sites while in Budapest and now Thanks to Suzie I have a sweet memory of it. I will definitely visit again.  I'll plan ahead next time...as I have a nice shoulder piece in mind!
