I must admit: the kis Gouda pogácsa are awesome! The sacher and chocolate cakes are delicious as well. I only think the ordering process could be faster. Overall, though, the food is amazing!

Daubner is one of Budapest’s most iconic confectioneries where the cakes, and ice cream are consistently outstanding. The quality of the desserts is exceptional and keeps people coming back. That said, I think there is room for improvement when it comes to the overall customer experience. On hot summer days, the confectionery is not always open every day, parking can be difficult, and the queues are often extremely long. Personally, the one thing I dislike most is waiting in line. With better queue management, improved parking, and a more comfortable customer experience, Daubner would be just as exceptional in service as it is in the quality of its desserts.

Great quality cake, one of the best in the city. Even though it's always crowded and a hype, the prices are very moderate

Daubner Cukrászda is widely considered one of Budapest's most iconic and popular confectioneries, primarily known as a local favorite rather than a tourist trap. 👍 Long lines are a constant, especially on weekends, though the service is generally quick. 👌 Their Pogácsa (savory scones) is legendary, particularly the Gouda cheese and pumpkin seed varieties. ❤️

We recently visited Daubner Cukrászda, and I have to say, the cakes were the best I have ever tried. We sampled a variety of cakes, biscuits, and even some ice cream, and every single item was absolutely delicious. The quality and flavor were exceptional, making it well worth the trip. We will definitely come back if we visit Budapest again. Highly recommended!
