Ramon is the absolute best waiter and servant one can ask for. He loves his jobs and it is very easy to tell. Good vibes and kind service! Gave us the best experience. We’ll definitely come back!

Dionysos Taverna delivers an unforgettable dining experience from the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere strikes a wonderful balance—inviting, cozy, and distinctly authentic. The service is nothing short of exceptional, characterized by warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. When the food arrives, the generosity is immediately apparent; the dishes are not only packed with rich, traditional flavors, but the portions are also wonderfully large. One of the most astonishing highlights of the visit, however, turned out to be something entirely unexpected: the restroom. It was, without a shadow of a doubt, the most pristine, immaculate, and delicately maintained restroom I have ever encountered anywhere.A truly shocking level of cleanliness that sets a brand new standard. To top off an already stellar meal, the hospitality continued right to the very end with complimentary, incredibly fresh watermelon on the house, alongside a lovely parting gift of a single rose. Dionysos Taverna is an absolute gem that earns my highest and warmest recommendation.

Best restaurant we visited during our short stay in Budapest. In fact we had lunch one day and dinner the next day. It’s a popular restaurant so I suggest you book. The welcome was friendly; service attentive but not over bearing. They gave us bread and humus as an appetiser with our drinks; this was free. The food was excellent; fresh, well cooked and tasty. We also received a tasting dessert. A thoroughly enjoyable restaurant; would definitely recommend.

A must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Greek cuisine in Budapest. From the moment you step inside, it feels as though you've been transported to a traditional Greek taverna. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, complemented by great music and delicious food. What really sets this place apart is the thoughtful hospitality. Before my meal arrived, I was treated to a complimentary serving of hummus, and after the meal, I received fresh cherries as a lovely gesture from the house. A special mention goes to Norbert, who looked after me during my visit. His service was impeccable—friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. He checked in several times to ensure everything was perfect. The food arrived remarkably quickly and was excellent. Combined with the authentic atmosphere and outstanding service, this was a fantastic dining experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest

Excellent experience overall. The décor is beautiful, and the smallest details truly make the difference. The food is amazing, and the portions are very generous. The bathroom was lovely and had everything we needed. The waiters were super kind—special thanks to Bence for the great service. As a final touch, they gave me a rose when we finished, which was such a nice gesture. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it.
