This church isn't as touristy as others in Budapest, especially those with an entrance fee. Thanks to the ceiling, which doesn't soar upwards like so many churches, but instead envelops the walls like a cloud, there's no sense of your smallness and church's grandeur, but rather a more cozy, warm, and intimate feeling. The black, brown, and gold colors convey a sense of both respectability and warmth

Background: Parish was founded in 1390, re-established in 1687, was opened as a pub in 1720 and bought in 1724 by to convert into chapel. It was completed in 1761. One of the Catholic churches in Budapest It is located in Batthyány Square and near to Batthyány tér H metro train. It was close when I visited here. But still stunning during at night... the beauty of the church is impressive. I was amazed by the two towers colored with blue.

The parish of St. Anne is a Roman Catholic parish church in the Buda Castle district. The parish church of St. Anne is one of the most important buildings of Batthyány tér. Its construction began in 1740 according to the plans of architect Kristóf Hamon, and after his death, Máté Nöpauer completed the construction in 1761. A very beautiful church located in a beautiful place below the castle.

The two towers of Felsővízivárosi Szent Anna are visible from across the river and from the hills of Buda Castle. It's a relatively small church with attractive murals. It's also open to the public at no charge, a rarity in Budapest.

One of my favorite churches in Budapest, it's sad that it has a limited schedule but well worth the wait On the outside it doesn't look like much but the painting and decorations inside are stunning It is also very easy to reach by subway and on a 500 m radius from it there are several other churches worth seeing

Feeling so blessed to attend Christmas midnight Mass here. There was 45' of pipe organ recitals before the Mass started. 2019.
