The portion of this gelato is really ridiculous....one portion for 800 HUF.... I m wondering if they realise what they are offering..... never again 45 eur the kg ....this is insane

Dream Cream was on my list, and it did not disappoint. Located right across from the House of Terror Museum, at Andrássy út 61, it's the perfect spot for a refreshing break. The young lady behind the counter was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. We chatted about everyday life in Budapest and felt instantly welcome. Service with a smile, it really makes a difference. The ice cream was delicious: full of flavor and wonderfully refreshing. In short, this wasn’t a random stop, but a conscious choice. Great atmosphere, warm service, and a treat worth coming back for!

What an absolutely fantastic find after a spicy dinner nearby at the POETRY Asian fusion restaurant. Stopped by late around 9:45pm and the lady behind the counter was very helpful in offering multiple tastes. Every flavour is so different here and completely unexpected. The chocolate for example had peach in it while there was bubble gum mixed with another flavour that I’m having trouble recalling. Ended up getting three scoops in a cup - Bubblegum, Mango & Chocolate with Peach. Others got Salted Caramel and strawberry. Absolutely must try if you’re in the area. Btw, it’s a real small outlet so very easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. Would suggest stopping by if you’re visiting the Opera House.

I do not know what happened to quality in 2026… last year I gave 5stars and this review: This summer I am going to try all of their flavors. So far pistacchio, lemon, strawberry and ricotta with caramelized figs are in my top favourite. The service is very kind and friendly. Highly recommend them! 😊
