Budapest District II is one of Budapest's 23 districts. Life in the capital moves at a big-city pace: businesses often keep longer hours than in smaller towns, many shops, bars and restaurants stay open late, and nonstop shops serve customers around the clock. The Danube banks, Buda Castle and Andrássy út are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Széchenyi, Gellért and Rudas baths and the ruin bars of District VII draw visitors all year. Public transport is run by BKK, with four metro lines, trams, buses and the HÉV suburban railway; on Friday afternoons and before long weekends the roads out of the city jam up, so leave extra time. District II has leafy Buda neighbourhoods such as Rózsadomb, Pasarét and Hűvösvölgy, and Széll Kálmán tér is one of Buda's main transport hubs.

Probably the rudest doctor in Budapest. I called for some help and Dr. Erszébet Paszthory basically talked over me the entire time and shouted at me over the phone because she “couldn’t find my name or address in her system” (it was some time since we met, sure). So I gave her my past and current address - surprise - neither of them “apparently” belong to her practice. Odd that she helped me out in the past though, right? I understand that doctors are under a lot of pressure with the COVID situation but this was absolutely disgusting behaviour for someone who is supposedly a healthcare professional. It’s people like this that give Hungarian healthcare system such a bad reputation. If you can find another doctor that speaks your language, I strongly encourage you not to bother with this doctor because she clearly doesn’t have the very basic manners required for someone in her profession.
