The other Langos restaurant was closed, so we had to choose this one. We ordered the most classic option (1290 FT/3.57 euros): sour cream and cheese sticks. We originally wanted to add sausage rings, but the owner said they were out of stock, so we just got two of the classic options. This restaurant was great; they didn't charge a service fee. Unlike a Langos I went to in the city last year, where they insisted on charging at least a 5% service fee when I paid by card—I was just taking my food to go, so what service did they provide? I didn't think the taste was that different.

It was very good and the line for the locals went out the door, so that says something. Also you can pay with card which is good.

Oh my god… soooo good ! I’m not sure about the comments on the service. The ambiance is definitely a miss, although this is a local market and is the experience I was looking for (vs a museum-market). The Langosh was fresh, hot, not greasy at all (the dough was humid, NOT greasy). We stopped because locals were queuing and the la gosh looked fluffier than the 5 stars rating we saw in the city center. What a good decision… hot, garlicky, spongee, we had to fight our desire to have a 2nd one because we needed space for desert. Great market (the real thing) and great la gosh (our new reference)

The place is full of locals so it can't be bad. Sometimes there's a lack of some ingredients or just everything is sold out. If you want something fancy go to Retró Lángos near Arany János metro station, but if you want to feel the atmosphere of Lehel market start your day here and go shopping. Lángos is fresh, very good and very filling so watch out. Prices are great and staff helpful.

Very filling breakfast! One langos is enough for two people and will last you the whole day to be honest considering the generous portion. A lot of locals frequent this spot and the lady serving us was very sweet and tried her best to accommodate us despite the language barrier. Price is fair.
