We enjoyed a nice variety of dishes - the presentation was lovely and the flavors were well balanced. A couple of dishes were a touch less memorable than others, but overall a really enjoyable meal. 4/5, would come back to try more of the menu.

Not many times you find a place with 10/10 experience. Starting from the service, Levi (or Levis, sorry) the guy that toke care of us was wonderful. Not only nice and professional, but fast and with explanations about the dishes, and also, with recommendations about Budapest when we asked for. Levi, you are a 11/10! The ambience was just perfect, nice place, nice decoration, and a really good vibe. The playlist… what a playlist! Old rock hits that are story, just wonderful. And the final part, the food. Really good! Not cheap, but you pay for everything the right price. The Goulash was incredible, I can only compare with the famous Mamma Goulash, which is a really good traditional goulash, but Kismezö Goulash was like one step forward; more creamy, more detailed, more curated… The desserts, just amazing. I can only recommend to spend more money here. Ah! And Palinka selections were awesome!

Highly recommend this place to get a taste of Hungary! The staff is super friendly (kudos to the blond waitress for all her recommendations!!). We will be back! (Their good AC was highly appreciated in a very hot day with the summer heat wave).

Our anniversary dinner in Budapest was truly unforgettable. The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The dessert was one of the best we have ever tasted, and the wine pairing made the whole experience even more special. What really made the evening perfect was the outstanding service. Our waiter was such a kind, friendly, and professional guy who made us feel welcome from the very first moment. He took great care of us throughout the evening and helped create a warm and memorable atmosphere. This was honestly one of the best dining experiences we have ever had, and the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful evening in Budapest. Highly recommended!

Hello, this is mine and my 2 friends first time visiting this restaurant. It will also be our last. They call this a traditional Hungarian restaurant We all agreed this must be a place for tourist. The service was ok but not the best. Prices are very high for a basic Hungarian wine. The biggest mistake is with the food. We all ordered Hungarian Guylas or Ghoulash in English. They put celery in it, quite a lot of it. First things first no Hungarian has ever put celery in Guylas. It doesn't go in it, never has an never should be again. The soup was also extremely greasy. They used a very cheap cut of meat also very little carrots. Then they topped it off with some type of green cilantro type stuff. Again this doesn't belong in the soup. The only thing that was good was the sourdough bread. We let the waiter know that it tasted bad. One friend couldn't even finish hers. The waiter said he would tell the kitchen but no manager came over to check on us to acknowledge the complaint, maybe offer a discount or free dessert, something to just acknowledge that it was bad. They have a great location next door from Operasinhaz so they just need to change their recipe and try to do better. I c
