Terrible experience — extremely slow processing and completely unresponsive customer service. This is already the third shipment I’ve received with exactly the same issue. In Hungary, DHL unfortunately does not deliver directly to private customers, only to companies. Instead, they have a contract with the Hungarian Post (posta.hu), which handles deliveries on DHL’s behalf. And I have to say, the combination of dhl.de and posta.hu is the worst possible one. Each time DHL’s tracking shows that the shipment has been handed over to posta.hu, it disappears into a kind of gray area for 1–2 weeks. During that time, there is absolutely no information on where the parcel actually is. Posta.hu claims they are still waiting for DHL, while DHL insists they have already handed it over to posta.hu. The same story has happened three times in a row. Two shipments from AliExpress actually arrived faster — even though they were shipped later. I’m not kidding: whenever possible, I specifically choose webshops that don’t use DHL for delivery.
