This authentic Italian restaurant is a true hidden gem in Budapest and definitely worth seeking out. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and genuinely happy to explain the dishes and ingredients, which makes the whole experience feel much more personal. The atmosphere is elegant without being overly formal, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. What really stands out is the attention to ingredients. Everything is sourced directly from Italy, with seasonal vegetables coming from their own farm, high-quality pasta, and an impressive selection of wines. My personal favorite was the Spaghettone alla Carbonara, made with guanciale from the Nebrodi Mountains. The pasta was perfectly cooked, rich and creamy without feeling too heavy, with exactly the salty and savory flavor you want from a proper carbonara. Honestly, one of the best I’ve had. I also recommend the chef’s special handmade Gnocchi. They were soft and delicate, while the creamy cheese sauce was rich and comforting, with a subtle spicy touch. A real discovery. We were looking for an Italian restaurant near the Anantara hotel, so we popped into this one. To be honest, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent; we ordered a Caprese salad and some pasta (carbonara and with red prawns). Everything was delicious. For dessert, we had a lovely tiramisu and a fantastic lemon sorbet. Highly recommended.

Italian is my favorite cuisine, and this was one of the best Italian meals I've ever had. The staff was extremely nice and willing to go into so much detail about each dish and what was unique about it. We don't drink a lot of wine, but they helped us pair a great selection with our entres. They import many of their ingredients from Italy. The caprese was so simple and yet somehow far better than any I've ever had. I just happened to walk in because I saw it was an Italian restaurant. Didn't expect to be blown away like I was.

The staff, the food the wine selection, the atmosphere! A really amazing culinary experience that I would recommend for everyone. Its also the PERFECT place for any special occasion. A must visit when you're in Budapest!

Lovely Italian restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, and the food is just amazing — everything tastes so fresh and full of flavor. I really liked that they explain what we eat and how it should be enjoyed, it makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a place to come back to! 🇮🇹✨
