Super friendly atmosphere, sommelier quality wine selection, a good coverage of all wine growing areas of Hungary. Food is a short menu, carefully considered selection with a precise execution. I'll be back here.

Excellent experience at the wine bar Ménesi. They were incredibly hospitable with our large and admittedly rowdy group, even giving us a private room in the back so we wouldn’t disturb the other guests. The wine recommendations were spot on, but what really stood out was the service — attentive, welcoming, and genuinely exceptional from start to finish. A great spot for wine, atmosphere, and hospitality in Budapest

Had such a great time😍 food is great , especially sweet potato fries . Service on another level! Waitress was so helpful with translating the menu and wine card. Great place if you want to try out Hungarian wines

I have been to this place before and really loved it , today I came and was disappointed, wine selection is still good , but what’s wrong with the food?! we ordered the ham and cheese plate for 2 persons for almost 8k HUF( 20€!)and we got few slices of ham and a bit of cheese, this plate looked like a joke 🥲Photo attached, I would not say anything if this plate would cost 3-4k , but 8….

Excellent and cosy wine bar with a large selection of Hungarian wines. The staff were superb and always willing to let you try different wines prior to making your decision. Good selection of food to pick at whilst drinking. We went for the mixed meat and cheese platter for 1 (big enough to share), selection of bavarian sausages and mustard and the sweet poatatoe fries. Would definitely recommend for couples and small groups.
