it's not a hostel, it's a crumbling high school dormitory. No privacy, glass doors to the rooms, shower room you can't close, filthy toilets. No one respects curfew so you have fluorescent lights on all night long (which you can't help seeing because you have glass doors) and you hear everyone coming from the city or the airport at 3am. Never again. Plus, when you're a woman traveling alone - I definitely don't recommend it, it's hard to feel safe in such a place. For information - I am from Eastern Europe and always choose budget options when traveling, but this place was too much. F.u mogyorgi, you ruined my holiday!

It was the worst hostel in the world I've ever stayed in. (But I still love Budapest.) The inside of the room was not cleaned, it was almost like an abandoned building, not a hostel where guests stayed. I was really disappointed that the cleaning was not done properly. Someone's hair and dust clung together and rolled on the floor. When I opened the closet, the inner wood had been so peeled off that the closet could not be used. It was so dirty I couldn't even touch it. No matter how cheap a hostel is, it doesn't mean that it shouldn't be kept clean. The manager must have seen a lot of reviews, but I don't understand why the accommodation is still not improved. Bedding covers were very dirty with many stains. The pillows and blankets were yellow in color and had a lot of hair on them. On the first day, I opened the window to let the fresh air in, a lot of bugs came in and crawled on my stuffs and even hovered around my face. So the next day I slept with the window closed, It was super extremely hot as sauna. Of course, I wouldn't recommend visiting this hostel all year round, but even more so in the summer. One of our bed mattress was terribly broken. My sister couldn't sleep we

I came during the Ziget festival, so the prices were high. Although the price is not worth it, but if there is no other option, then this is a reasonable option. The location is nice and within walking distance you can find metro, buses, arena mall, supermarket, restaurants and cafes, and ATM. The building itself is a bit scary and in an old European style. Maybe they filmed a horror movie there, who knows. But in any case, the rooms and beds are comfortable, the toilets and showers between the women's and the men's are really far, sometimes dirty and smelly and with many insects (and sometimes clean), the showers should be noted - good. The staff is nice and always ready to help and explain.
