Finding the temporary ticket office was difficult. Not enough, if any signs. Head over to the right side, walk until you can turn right, then after walking outside you will see the container office. We needed it as the ticket machine that morning would not give us a single to Bratislava. The online sites were offering high prices but the physical ticket was less than half the price that day.

Easy to navigate. Pretty busy but not uncomfortably so. Very beautiful exterior.

Location wise very strategic, close to the old town city centre and walking distance from many hotels. Plus surrounded by various shopping centres, restaurants, and cafe. But I think this terminal deserve a renovation and bit of touch ofodernization also to make the passengers comfortable transiting.

Very nice railway station. You may take trains to other countries from here... The train journey is nice

Nyugati Pályaudvar = Railway Station to the West, but don’t be surprised: most of the trains are serving the suburbs of the capital Budapest or going to the South, East, North, but practically none of them are going to West. Few international trains ends here. The station shows similarities with the Eiffel Tower in Paris, don’t be surprised: the architect is the same. The historical part of the station was recently renovated.
