Office Shoes - ÁRKÁD Budapest

I had a very disappointing experience at the Office Shoes store in Arcád Mall. When purchasing a pair of shoes, I specifically asked the staff whether I could return them if they did not fit properly, and I was told that returns were possible. A few days later, I went back to return the shoes because they did not fit. The shoes were completely unworn, in their original packaging, with everything included. Despite this, the staff refused to refund my money and only offered a gift card valid for two years. This solution was not acceptable for me, as I may not remain in Hungary long enough to use the gift card. What made the situation worse was the lack of clear and consistent information from the staff. According to Hungarian consumer practices and the information on the company’s website, returns are allowed, yet this was not honored in practice. Customers should be clearly informed of any refund restrictions in advance. Unfortunately, the misleading information and poor handling of this situation resulted in a very negative experience.

AVOID!!!!!! AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!! Bought a Shoe from there (an expensive one) I wore it for half an hour !! then the front lip came off ( can be glued back) I decided if it came off that easy I will just return it as it is just bad quality shoe they refused decided they will Glue it back and that is it. I explained I can Glue it back my self but i simply do not want it anymore ( they do not give refunds or exchange only fix!! ) add to that the staff there are so grumpy faces like they are forced to be there ! Anyways save yourself money and the hassle and go buy from other stores ( big brand store cost more but will always help out and be fair) .. Never again. big mistake

It was a terrible experience as others also mentioned. I bought Birkenstocks here for 48000ft. No one was interested in helping us with sizes, seemed like workers didn’t care at all. Once I came home on the box I saw that it’s a narrow fit, and there is a special thing where you can measure your foot and see if it’s a regular fit or narrow. It turned out that I needed the regular fit. I came to the shop to exchange the shoes and they said they don’t have regular fit at all. When I said I want to return them then if it’s not my fit and it’s too expensive (to not wear them), they said they don’t do refunds. They didn’t notify about such things beforehand, and they stood there with poker face saying “I’m sorry”. I got very frustrated, and just left with the shoes. But I wouldn’t recommend this shop as it feels like a scam. As a comparison when I buy even underwear for 1000ft in other shops they tell me before buying that I cannot return them. Here you spend over 100€ and you don’t get notified about non refund rule.

Although the place wasn't busy, the staff purposely avoided eye contact with customers (it's obvious), to discourage you to ask for help. Once you approach them, and simply ask for a shoe size, first they roll their eyes and then they answer like they are doing you a favour. It's a shame, cause their shoes selection it is one of the best, but their staff should really try to put their souls in peace, and understand customers service it's very important. I left and bought the same shoes somewhere else.
