A hidden gem! Fantastic, extraordinary food, very friendly service and a nice little yard to sit outside. Very fair prices. All in all: very recommendable, if you want the opposite of a tourist-trap! It's a bit outside of the city center, but it might be worth the cab-ride. Personal tipp: the cheese-soup, served inside a bread-bowl is more than delicious, and the lemonades are amazing! Just keep the opening hours in mind, closing-time is already at 8 P.M. But it's really perfect for a nice daytime meal or an early dinner.

We wanted to get out of Budapest Center and happened upon this place by accident. It was very nice. Certainly four-star meal but I couldn't give it five. The grilled vegetables were okay but the carrots were just good as there was no blanching so they were hard as rock. Very affordable!!!!

Their cigánypecsenye was pretty expensive, so I expected something better than what I've got.

Very tasty food, nicely presented. We had salmon with roasted potatoes, fish and chips, spare ribs, pasta with pork, and grilled chicken. Lemonade and beer were great. Lava cake for desert. Everything was perfect
