★★★★★ A great visit during my stay in Budapest. PBT has a refreshing approach: no unnecessary marketing, just well-designed fencing equipment that feels like it was created by people who actually fence. The products are practical, comfortable and clearly thought through in detail. The store has a workshop-like atmosphere rather than a flashy showroom, but that is part of its charm. Behind the scenes you can see the real expertise, and the staff were friendly, professional and very competent. A very pleasant experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for any fencer visiting Budapest.

PBT Fencing is, without a doubt, one of the most reasonably priced, high-quality brands in the fencing world. Their gear combines durability, performance, and affordability, making them a standout choice for fencers of all levels. What sets PBT apart even further is their exceptional customer service. The team is incredibly responsive and always kind, going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. I was especially impressed when they proactively let me know that a particular socket might not work in the U.S.—a thoughtful gesture that saved me potential trouble. I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year, and PBT has quickly become one of my favorite fencing brands. From equipment to customer care, they consistently exceed expectations. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Bit of a hike from West End Budapest however when we got there the staff were brilliant..... English speaking and very helpful. Amazing prices on FIE epee masks and they are ready for the new rule changes in April.
