Egy hely, amiről a terézvárosi vagányok is csak suttogva beszélnek. Itt megállt az idő és mumifikálódott. Ez a néhány lépcsőfoknyi táv egy spirituális utazás közvetlen a rendszerváltás utáni időkbe, ugyanis az egykori asztalos műhelyből kb. 1992-ben lett kocsma, amit a jelenlegi tulaj, Katikám, 2002-ben vett át és azóta üzemeltet. Ahogy azt a magunkfajta értő hallgatóságnak szokás, mesélt a régi időkről. Amikor még sok hasonló egység működött a környéken, míg eltartották azokat a nyerőgépek. A munkásokról, akik gyakran benéztek egy kávéra, üdítőre - nap közben -, a műszak végén meg egy sörre. Az alkalmi fiatalokról, akik miatt sokáig zsíros kenyereket kent. Mind kikoptak. Csak a régi törzsvendégek maradtak, de az idő múlásával ők is egyre kevesebben. Sajnos, tipikus történet. Ezért megígértem neki, küldök oda pár bátor kocsmakalandort, legalább néhány napra pörögjön fel az üzlet. Szívesen fogadtak minket, szívesen fogadnak mindenkit. Meglepő módon tartanak csapolt sört, egy korsó Arany Ászokot kemény 650 forintért mérnek, a lédig borokból egy házmester 520 Ft, egy presszó kávé 300 Ft. Nincs beláthatatlan messzeségben, addig menjetek, amíg lehet! Akár a Westendből jövet-menet. Csodá
