Premium Drop-off - Budapest Airport

The parking itself would be okay, but the customer service is subpar, the agent is disrespectful, cynical and dismissive.

Scammers. I paid 4000 huf for 5 minutes there. Very confusing and no clear signs to differentiate it from pick up parking. Sounds like a tourist trap.

Beware, they charge you 10€ (4000 HUF) for entering this parking zone for the second time on the same day, as opposed to 2 free 5-minute stays earlier. (First 5 min/day is still free as of July 2025.) Now that the departure ring is being renovated and people are using the pick-up ring for drop-off too, the airport decided to drastically increase their prices for parking, just to make sure you get a proper welcome to Hungary;) Avoid if possible.

We had a very short stop at the airport, but were surprised to be charged 4000 HUF (around 10 euros) for less than 5 minutes of parking. It would be helpful if the pricing was made clearer for short-term stops, especially for travelers who are just dropping someone off. A more transparent system would definitely improve the experience.

Arrived at night after one week, card payment - connected via OTP shitbank - was out of service. You were forced to take money from ATM, go back and pay with cash. Hotline did not work.
