About Raul Duran Photography

Hey there, it’s Raúl Durán, and no worries, I will keep this short: I’m a Spanish photographer living in Budapest for more than a decade. I focus a lot on dance and ballet photography, but if you’ve seen my portfolio, you’ll see that I also work a lot doing portraits and commercial work.

I have worked with many of the ballerinas of the Hungarian National Ballet, and also Wiener Staatsoper and Georgian State Ballet.

I found Raul on instagram because of one of his amazing ballet photos. Decided to make a photoshoot with him when in Budapest. The pictures were astonishing and I got really comfortable with him during the photoshoot.. highly recommended!

During my Europe summer holiday, I went to many places and also engaged with professional photographers to take home moments captured in picture as a lifelong souvenir. Raul has been and still is the best photographer. All pictures taken have strong characters. It not only capture the beauty of the scenery but also you best angle. Raul is amazing! Friendly and professional - this is not a typical "rushed" photoshoot session. We worked together twice: shot pictures for my business and also did an awesome photoshoot at the castle area. He really takes the time to know you and the message you want to share, which is really important especially for business photos.
