Star Park parkoló

DO NOT PARK HERE! I had to pay 77 EUR for only 30–40 minutes. There is no ticket when entering. You enter through a barrier, and when you wnat to exit, you must type your license plate number into the machine. When I did this, it said “car not found”, even though my car was parked there. I tried calling for help several times, but no one answered. After trying again, the system suddenly recognized my car but charged me 77 EUR, as if I had parked for several days, not less than one hour. I had no choice but to pay just to leave. The help button does not work. Terrible parking system. Avoid this place.

DON’T EVER PARK THERE!! Had to PAY 90 EURO for 1 NIGHT!!! I’ve parked to many places in Budapest this was by far the WORST, never seen such a SCAM, you get in through barriers without any paper and when you get out you have to type your car plate to the machine and pay the corresponding amount then barriers open. I parked my car there in the evening then tried to get it out in the morning BUT the machine said the car plate was not found EVEN THOUGH my car was parked literally there!! I called but noone answered, then i rang the bell some guy shouted at me in Hungarian from the microphone and close the call, at the end I had to PAY 90 EURO for 1 NIGHT!!!! To make the barriers up and be able to leave. Unbelievably DIRTY place, very RUDE service, never ever park to this trap and make the mistake i did and don’t give your money to those scammers!!!

Avoid this place – complete scam. This parking facility is not trustworthy. It’s clear they’re running a scam to take more money then you should pay… I was told I could only pay with cash and had to go to an ATM, and then when I paid he told me he didn’t have any change, so ended up paying way to much because the ATM spit out large bills and there are no stores around to get change… Clearly a scam. We ended up wasting time, money, and energy dealing with their mess. Do yourself a favor and park elsewhere — this place is not worth the stress.

The day we parked we specifically asked if he accepted only credit cards and he said yes, pointing to the "card only" sign. 24 hours later when we go to pay, the card gives us error to the 4 of us who were going, arrives and tells us that only money, when we entered only to pay by card, we had to end up taking out cash and paying an exaggerated commission, I do not recommend anything.

Plenty of parking, 24/7, decently affordable (only a few dollars for less than an hour), but not an overly nice lot. Tap-to-pay option available, just need to scan your entry ticket. There are some interesting murals on the walls surrounding the lot, the Alice in Wonderland is really done well. Worth the price just to see the art.
