Szent István tér este o piață centrală și una dintre cele mai importante zone din Budapesta, aflată în fața Bazilicii Sf. Ștefan, cel mai mare și emblematic edificiu religios al orașului. Piața este un punct turistic major, renumită pentru arhitectura sa, atmosfera vibrantă, restaurantele și cafenelele elegante, precum și pentru evenimentele culturale, inclusiv Târgul de Crăciun (noiembrie–decembrie). Piața a fost amenajată în secolul al XIX-lea, odată cu construcția Bazilicii Sf. Ștefan (1851–1905), numită după primul rege al Ungariei, Ștefan I (997–1038), canonizat în 1083.

Hezký vánoční design, stánky s vánočními suvenýry a fast food, celkově velmi pěkné. Jenom ty trhové ceny jsou klasicky nesmyslné! Kürtoskalác tu prodávají za 2800 HUF, popojdu kousek a mám ho u stánku na začátku Andrássiho třidy za 1000 HUF!!! Skandální!!! Jinak místo samozřejmě zaslouží za nazdobení vysoké hodnocení

Korcsolyázási lehetőség. Kűrtőskalács, forraltbor, kézműves kaják. Hétköznap kevés látogató, hétvégén zsúfoltság.
