Honestly, what did you expect? It’s Hungary, what wonderfully bad healthcare. I speak Hungarian,so it wasn’t a problem for us, but their wages are probably pretty low, I can’t rlly even blame them. I rarely find a rendelőintézet that has a better rating than 3,5. That should say enough. It’s pretty bad, all the acceptable places are either private, or are urgent cares. This one was no exception.

Saint Margit Clinic – A State-Sponsored Time Capsule Welcome to the Saint Margit Outpatient Clinic, a public healthcare institution named after a saint, serving as the last resort for those left behind by Hungary’s booming private medical sector. It's one of the few state-run buildings that got a surprise facelift – probably thanks to a geographical glitch: Üröm, Hungary’s richest village, technically falls in its catchment area. Miraculous funding? Bureaucratic accident? Who knows. Step inside and you'll be transported straight to the 1970s. The waiting room features original Kádár-era metal chairs that scream (literally), brownish-yellow walls that haven’t changed since the Helsinki Accords, and an atmosphere best described as “post-socialist purgatory.” No, this isn’t retro chic – it’s just what’s left. The clinic stands as a crumbling monument to universal healthcare. Elderly patients clutch their numbered tickets like lottery slips, hoping their turn comes before sundown. Appointments are a game of patience – often months away – but at least it’s free. Mostly. Here, faith isn’t just in Saint Margit, but in the faint hope that the system, somehow, still functions.

Very bad and rude reception staff. No one speaks English and don't even care to help you out in any possible way. Really disappointing and terrible place. Highly recommend not to go here.

Verry bad customer service, no one speaks english. If you plan or need to go here, prepare yourself to wait minimum 2hours till your number comes, even though there will be people arriving after you and somehow making it first to the doctor.
