One of the best burger places in all of Hungary. The staff is always very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We didn’t expect much when we first visited this small bistro, but after trying the food, we have happily returned every year whenever we pass by. The burgers are delicious, juicy, and perfectly prepared — never dry. The homemade buns make them even better, and there is a wide variety to choose from. The meat is well-cooked, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. Portions are generous, and one burger is enough to leave you completely full, even without fries. The prices are fair and match the quality of the food. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent burger experience.

The food was soooo good 💔 I am surprised how a burger can be that delicious, it's insane. I got one with peanut butter and jam, and omg, this was heavenly. The quality of meat is top 💯 . I would also recommend getting their lemonade! Other than that, The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and very kind.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I saw that The Burger Project was voted the best burger in Hungary in 2025, so of course I had to try it. And honestly, it lived up to the title. I ordered the loaded potatoes with bacon and cheese, and they were absolutely delicious. I also had a burger, and it was spectacular, juicy, flavorful and perfectly made. Without a doubt, it was the best burger I have had in Budapest since I moved here two years ago. My friend loved her meal too, everything was spot on. I visited the one in Újpest, but I definitely plan to visit the other locations as well. It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait to go back.

8/10 burger, I got the peanut butter and jelly burger, and I quite enjoyed the sweet/salty factor. I'm from the US so I had to try this combination because I've never seen it before, I'm not so the Europeans will like it so much because it's extremely sweet. It's very very sweet so just be warned about that. I got onion rings with it and they were also very good. The bun was super soft and fluffy which I enjoy in a burger. The peanut butter and jelly burger is definitely a gimmick thing, I would like to try one of their more normal burgers if I come back and I imagine they will be much better. I like how it's a small cozy place with proper outside seating, you can see them make your burger and it's super quick and all made fresh to order. This place would succeed in the US for sure 👍

I didn’t realize this was more of a burger stand but it didn’t matter, one of the best food spots we visited ! Portions are generous, and the flavors are spot on! I opted for a vegetarian burger and they gave me three options. Staff is friendly, kind, and so quick!! English menus are available inside, so many options! Outdoor seating available, making it a great space to take kids
