I stopped by The North Face store on Váci Utca in Budapest, and it felt like a proper slice of American quality dropped into Europe; clean, sharp, and stocked with gear that actually lives up to the name. The two salesmen; who spoke surprisingly good english for non-Americans handled everything exactly how I expect it to be done, confident, efficient, no wasted time. Not every place gets service right, but this one comes pretty close to the standard we set back home.

amazing store with good selection of good quality goods at good prices, plus with 15% discount until april 12. i can very much recommend the sellers balazs and balazs, they help me very much and for a long time. they explain the tax free very good, and fastly.

I am following up on my previous request regarding a VAT refund issue for my purchase at Mountex (The North Face, Budapest) on 4 December 2025. My Tax Free form was successfully validated at the airport via DEV, but Global Blue has clearly confirmed that an official invoice (SZÁMLA) is required in order to process the refund. A receipt copy is unfortunately not accepted under Hungarian regulations. I have already contacted the store directly, but so far I have not been able to obtain the required document. As an international customer, this situation is quite concerning, as the refund cannot be processed without the store’s cooperation. I believe this is also important information for other tourists who rely on the Tax Free system when shopping. I would sincerely appreciate it if the store could review this matter again, possibly escalate it internally, and assist in issuing a proper invoice (SZÁMLA) for this transaction. I had a great experience at The North Face store yesterday. Besides of the store being well organized, the atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment I walked in. What really made the visit stand out was the service. Adam, one of the sellers, was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to answer questions, gave useful recommendations, and made the whole shopping experience different and enjoyable. It’s rare (especially in Budapest) to meet someone so friendly and attentive in retail, and he’s truly the kind of person everyone would love to have helping them while buying outdoor gear. Altogether, shopping there felt easy and pleasant. I’ll definitely come back and you have my highest recommendations for this store.

I am a TNF fan and I saw that they had sales going on. I went in to look for something but it was not available. I will go online to look for it. By chance, I saw some cute haversacks for children. This store is huge as it has a double-story retail space.
