We had an amazing experience at Tom Yum Bistro in Budapest. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned, every dish was full of flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was nice, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We enjoyed every minute and would definitely come back. Highly recommended 👍🏻

One of the more expensive meals for what it was that I've had in Budapest. Most likely because of the table service fee and, if you're paying by card, it additionally defaults to a 9, 15 % and 20? tip American style. I surmise because this location is between two hotels and has mostly foreign customers. I arrived around 7 pm, and the small restaurant had a couple of people there on a Sunday evening. The waiter told me the service fee goes to the restaurant but the tip would go to him. A disappointing fluffing of a price. The meal itself was good. I ordered a Tom kha, pad Thai and a Thai tea. Interestingly I wasn't asked on how spicy I wanted it so the food was a bit on the mild side.

First bite in Hungary and we absolutely loved it! Authentic Thai Cuisine for sho! It was a quiet but delicious lunch. Do hope to vist here sometime in the evening to really get a feeling of a packed atmosphere. Felt as if we had a personal chef. Halal too! Good good!!

I’ve visited several Tom Yum locations before, and the Soroksári Road restaurant delivers the same quality that made me appreciate this place so much. The flavors are authentic and well balanced, and you can clearly feel the care and the use of fresh ingredients in every dish. The portions are generous, the presentation is appealing, and the Tom Yum soup is once again truly memorable — deep, aromatic, and full of genuine Thai character. The staff are kind and attentive without being intrusive, always there exactly when needed. The value for money is excellent, and the atmosphere is especially inviting: a calm, welcoming space decorated with authentic Thai motifs. The experience is further enhanced by the view of Gellért Hill and the Citadella, which adds a unique touch to the visit. If you’re looking for real Thai cuisine in Budapest, the Tom Yum on Soroksári Road is a reliable choice.

I was pleasantly surprised by this find. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I was a bit apprehensive when I looked at initial rating but looked at the last 6 months of reviews and thought why not try it. It was a good decision. The food was good, the service was good and this has gone on my "will return" list. Best surprise at the end was the mango with sticky rice. I haven't had it made the correct way since my last visit to Thailand. ❤️❤️❤️
