Such a crispy buttery croissant! Tried their savory and sweet pastries and both were good. The chocolate babka is one of their best pastries. Not too sweet just the right amount of chocolate sweetness

Summary: During my short time in Budapest, I visited this cafe multiple times! I loved it that much. The service is quick, the staff is nice, and the pastries are made fresh daily. Ambience: If you need a cafe to visit, come here. The inside is so cute. They also have chairs outside for additional seating. There’s WiFi if you need to come in and do some work. Food: The poppyseed bun so delicious! The brioche with apricot jam was good, but not my favorite. Both the matcha and chai tea were delicious. They had other food items on the menu that looked delicious as it came out of the kitchen. Service: I received my drinks promptly after sitting down. When you order at the counter, they give you a number so that your none pastry items can be brought to you.

Friendly staff, delicious bakery goods with some special flavors like ‘plum dumpling’ or ‘aranygaluska’. Only downside it’s a bit overpriced even to campare with similar style Amsterdam, Wien or Milano based bakeries.

I have been a loyal customer of VAJ for a long time, and the quality of their pastries truly lives up to their motto. It feels like each pastry has been transported from outer space, they're that extraordinary! The consistency in quality over time is truly reassuring and brings a sense of calmness and reliability. The coffees are exceptional, and the café's ambiance, vibes, and music create a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for work, study sessions, or friendly gatherings.

Great place for morning coffee, tasty breakfast and a chat with friends. Delicious coffee. The size of the cappuccino cup is insufficient for me. Croissants are sweet, crunchy and have a large selection. Sunflower bread from this bakery is for my family the best bread in the city.
