Paying 3500 HUF for a tinned papaya salad drenched in industrial mayonnaise is a big turn off. I was expecting actual papaya, herbs, fish sauce, lime. The pictures on the menu are very different from what you get.

The food here is so authentic, fresh, and incredibly tasty every dish we tried was packed with flavor. The restaurant itself has a really nice, welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot to sit down and relax. On top of that, the staff are so kind and attentive, and the prices are absolutely not expensive for the amazing quality you get. Highly recommend!

This is a Chinese restaurant — nothing to do with Vietnamese or Thai cuisine. The pho is decent, but the pad thai is poor. Service is quick, though communication can be limited, and the service charge is already included in the bill. Overall, it’s quite expensive for what you get; you can easily find much better authentic Vietnamese restaurants for the same price.

Excellent pho, refreshing drinks, lovely server staff! The portion sizes are appropriate, satiating but not crazy huge. Their prices are also quite affordable, you get great value for your money! The vibes are also great, and the place is really clean and tastefully decorated. ✨

Viet Sky is a wonderful place to enjoy Vietnamese food in Óbuda. The restaurant has a colourful and tasteful design, and you’re welcomed by friendly staff. We tried the shrimp summer rolls, the chicken pho, and the chicken Pad Thai. The summer rolls had a pleasant chew with bright, fragrant flavours that paired perfectly with the sweet peanut sauce. The pho was also excellent — perfectly seasoned, comforting, and refreshing thanks to the fresh vegetables and herbs. The chicken had a good flavour but was slightly chewy and fatty. The Pad Thai, however, wasn’t what we expected. It lacked both peanuts and bean sprouts as advertised, and the flavour was overwhelmingly sweet and a bit one-sided. The chicken was crispy but on the tough side. Overall, the food tastes good if you know which dishes to order. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!
