The photography instructor at this company is rude and completely unprepared to deal with customers in a professional manner. A company of this size should not allow people with this kind of attitude to represent their brand. A company that values its customers should never allow disrespect and lack of professionalism to be part of the learning experience.

This company is shockingly unprofessional and blatantly discriminatory. On 10-08-2025, I booked a Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens online for a one-day rental (11-08-2025 to 12-08-2025). Nowhere on their website or in their rental terms does it state that speaking Hungarian is a requirement. After traveling over an hour to their Budapest store, I was met by an employee named Eva, who immediately asked if I spoke Hungarian. I told her not fluently, She flat-out refused to give me the product I had already booked, simply because I don’t speak Hungarian. This is not just bad customer service — it’s outright discrimination. Her attitude was disgustingly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She even told me to “grab someone from the street who speaks Hungarian” so the rental could be under their name instead of mine. That is insulting, humiliating, and absurd for any serious business, especially one of this size. I came ready to pay and test the lens with the clear intention of buying it if it worked for me. Great experience a while back with some Fuji lens purchases. The staffs were helpful and knowledgeable, and I found exactly what I needed so did not have to spend so much time looking around. No waiting time at all when I was assisted right away the moment I got inside. Fast, friendly, and smooth service though. Highly recommend since they also got good prices due to promotions during some periods, too, you just need to check their websites occasionally

They tried to sell me a used lens as new. Wanted to purchase a Sony 16-35mm GM2 but when checking the lens at the store it became obvious that the lens was not new. There were clear signs of use, however the staff stated that the lens was new. On top of that, the production date of the lens was August 2023 - that means the lens was from the first production batch almost two years ago - so if this lens was in fact new, then the shop should have had this in stock without selling it since the launch almost two years ago. But in no way was this a new lens… One thing was that the box was open and not sealed, but when there is dirt in the edges at the bajonet and scratches on the lens cap it is clearly not a new lens from the factory. I see on their website that they buy back used camera equipment, so I am wondering if the lens they tried selling me was one they bought back or at least a demo model - for sure it wasn’t new.

This store has one of the most extensive choice of photography equipment in Budapest. Their prices are higher than the average stores, but there are always promotions, which can be used. This store at Béke tér is very large with more kiosks, so customers can go through quickly.
