I’m quite picky and was looking for classy work shoe, the choice of high quality leather shoes is astonishing, despite the small shop footprint. I came out with four different pairs that I am sure will be loyal companions for years to come.

Stumbled across this tiny shop in Budapest. Excellent quality shoes. Leather is incredibly soft and fits your feet like a glove. The shopkeeper couldn't speak English, but she communicated with me through Google translate and gave an excellent service. All shoes are unique and handmade, so there are limited supplies of each size or colour. Highly, highly recommended!!!!!

This little shop sells the most amazing and comfortable hand-made shoes. Each pair is unique. The story behind is wonderful as well: the shoemaker is in his eighties and is a qualified lawyer whose love of the craftsmanship drove him to make these shoes when he was young. Started at 17 and still going! My wife has been wearing Alföldi shoes for more than 20 years. Highly recommended.

This is a unique shoe shop in the heart of the city. The shop itself is very tiny but has a very large background storage. All the shoes are handmade, they use leather. If you want a very unique and stylish shoe that last for ages, then this is your shop.
