I was quite surprised to find authentic Italian cuisine in Budapest. The pasta and Aperol were absolutely amazing! Very welcoming service and a cute terrasse to enjoy a sunny lunch.

very clean & cozy environment. staff were very welcoming, polite, & courteous. spoke to us in English & offered an English menu, to which we were very grateful. food was excellent as well :) overall a very pleasant experience.

Easily one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Maybe the very best. The crust was amazing, the sauce and cheese were in just the right amounts, the spicy salami and pepperoni were superb, and the whole thing was cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. The beer with the pizza and the espresso after were perfect too! Loved the garlic olive oil and the other spicy variety. Just all-in-all one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Dining room ambiance was exquisite. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed everything. If you’re in Budapest and love Italian, you gotta try this place. And if you don’t get pizza for your meal, get one to go. You will not regret it. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in town.

I do not know if this is off the beaten path or not, but to me it was. This place seems like it is a locals type of restaurant which is what we were looking for. We did enter, and we were immediately greeted and sat by the window. I assume it was the owner, as he interacted with us our entire time. He gave us menu’s as well as a passport type drink menu. I absolutely loved the creativity of the passport. The bruschetta was absolutely phenomenal. The beer came out ice cold, and the wine pours were welcoming. The pizza was very fresh and the ingredients were plentiful. For a neapolitan style pizza, I liked that it was not wet in the center. The pasta was flavorful. It is thick and creamy with a lot of taste. The pasta was cooked to perfection. As we finished our meal, the owner came over and asked about dessert. As we conversed with him, we politely declined. The owner insisted we try it, then he promptly disappeared and came back a few seconds later with pistachio tiramisu. I have never had pistachio tiramisu, but I did see it on various menus. One of our favorite in the area. Kind and professional staff. Kitchen is perfect. Pizza, pasta and the usual Italian offer is on a high level. With acceptable price. Good choice for a romantic evening, for family or for a business lunch as well. The drink selection is on a passport ...
