It was our second time in Amici Miei and once again it was really great! We had great waiter named Nico, he was really nice and kind! The service here was fast, it’s really nice place! We’ll definitely come back.

Special thanks to our attentive server Raffaele, who offered thoughtful recommendations and delivered warm, efficient service throughout our meal. The authentic flavours lived up to expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Would happily come back again.

We came to this restaurant with my mom to celebrate my birthday because I absolutely love Italian cuisine. We ordered a risotto and a Caesar salad. (I’ve had risotto many times because it’s my favorite dish, so I know what good risotto is supposed to taste like.) The atmosphere was nice, and we were looking forward to our food. However, we had to wait around 40 minutes, which we really didn’t like. We arrived at 9:30 p.m., and our food wasn’t served until 10:10 p.m. When the food finally arrived, the Caesar salad was fine, but my risotto was absolutely awful. It was so salty that it actually burned my throat. It felt like I was eating nothing but salt. After eating it, I felt sick and incredibly thirsty. I managed to eat only half of the risotto (only because I was extremely hungry). When the waiter came over, we told him that the dish was ruined. Instead of apologizing, he simply said, “Well, it happens,” and walked away. We were sitting outside, and I could hear him telling the other waiters about it while they were listening and laughing. Best italian food near Corvin Plaza , tasty food made of fresh products, clean place with nice terrace. Professional staff , we were served by Rafael that made the place even more familiar and cosy. Portions are great and prices are fair.

One of the best Italian restaurants in downtown Budapest with a cozy atmosphere and genuinely professional, friendly service. The pasta dishes are outstanding and truly authentic. Spaghetti Alla Carbonara is made the traditional Roman way with cured pork cheek (guanciale). Rich, creamy and just like the ones you get in Italy. Bucatini All’Amatriciana is another excellent choice, combines guanciale, tomato, pecorino, onion and a touch of chili with black pepper, giving it a perfectly balanced, slightly spicy kick. If you’re a seafood lover, Spaghetti Allo Scoglio is packed with clams, mussels, squid and shrimps. Fresh, generous and full of Mediterranean flavors. A small tip, add some of their homemade garlic or chili oil to your pasta, it really enhances the flavors. And don’t skip dessert. Their Tiramisu Classico is absolutely divine. It’s in a slightly higher price range but completely worth it for the quality of the ingredients, the authentic recipes and the whole dining experience.🦐🍝
