Auchan in Budapest is a fantastic shopping destination that consistently delivers an exceptional experience. Compared to smaller city stores, this hypermarket offers an unbeatable selection of goods. You can find everything from fresh produce and bakery items to electronics, clothing, and home essentials all under one single roof. The product variety is outstanding. The shelves are well-stocked with both local Hungarian favorites and popular international brands. It is an excellent place for budget-conscious shoppers, offering highly competitive pricing, great weekly deals, and wonderful seasonal promotions that provide excellent value for money.Navigating the store is smooth, and the layout is very intuitive. Even during peak hours when it gets busy, the checkout process is efficient thanks to numerous self-service options. Overall, Auchan provides top-tier convenience, quality, and affordability. Highly recommended for everyone in Budapest!

It's been exactly 5 years since I bought something at Auchan and this time, the security guard went overboard. When I bought the Kabanosy (799ft), the system issued an alert. 🚨 The security guard doesn't speak English, but he was rude, he searched my entire bag, as if I had stolen it, he said I hadn't paid for the Duda Kabanosz. He called the cashier, gave me the product and left. I followed him, because I didn't know if they were going to call the police or the manager. At that moment, he decided to leave on his break, without saying sorry or thank you (Elnézést vagy köszönöm) . I followed the man, went to customer service, The girl checked my bill, I paid for the product. I said that anyone who steals a product doesn't identify themselves with the supermarket card. She apologized and said she would speak to his manager.

We bought some chocolate at Auchan today. We were horrified when we opened it – there was a worm inside. It's terrible to have spent a thousand forints on this "pleasure."

Great choices of products including international ones. The section for fruits and vegetables could be better organized as it is chaos there when the shop is a bit packed.

Great shop, which offers best prices and has a huge variety of products. Much better than Spar and Tesco, choice #1! Always has fresh produce, and everything in stock. I can only recommend this place. Also there is a washroom available together with a canteen. Fresh and quite decent food.
