Honestly, for a fast food place, this is a fantastic burger. The Mexican fries were brilliant too. Very reasonably prices.

I’m a regular customer, but the service at the Széll Kálmán branch has consistently been unfriendly. On my last two visits, I ordered takeaway with refillable drinks but was told there were no lids available for the cup. No alternatives were offered, and once I even found another staff member who could provide lids after I was told none existed. The other time, I had to carry my drink uncovered all the way home. Please ensure basic takeaway items are stocked or communicated clearly, and that staff are more helpful in such situations.

The staff is friendly. But, it’s maybe not the best location. The place in front of the restaurant is pretty dirty. Inside the atmosphere could very well be a bit more pleasant also. The burger was rather tasty but the meat was overcooked, one of the bun burned black. And why all this unnecessary spices on the fries? It’s not my taste. However the IPA beer is excellent.

After hearing rave reviews and seeing the mouth-watering photos Bamba Marha uses for marketing, I decided to try the location at Széll Kálmán Tér, expecting the high-quality, perfectly structured burger they promise. What I received, however, was a total letdown and a stark contrast to what a premium burger should look like. The visual evidence speaks for itself (see photo). Instead of a dense, stacked, and appealing burger, I was served a messy pile of ingredients utterly dominated by an enormous, puffy, and seemingly air-filled bun. The bread-to-filling ratio was completely unbalanced. The burger was mostly tasteless bread, with the actual contents—the patty, cheese, and sauces—lost and flattened between the two massive halves. The delicious, juicy beef patty that is supposed to be the star was barely noticeable, making the whole experience feel like eating a salad sandwich with a faint meat flavor. For a restaurant that prides itself on quality and charge premium prices, the presentation was sloppy and unappetizing. When you are genuinely looking forward to a gourmet burger, being handed something so carelessly assembled and disproportionate is incredibly disappointing. I mes
