Bástya Park is a peaceful green spot in central Budapest, perfect for a quiet break away from the busy city streets. The park is well-maintained, with walking paths, benches, and some shaded areas, making it ideal for a short walk, reading, or just relaxing. Its central location is great — close to the Danube, restaurants, and shops — yet it feels surprisingly calm. It’s also very photogenic, especially in spring and autumn when the trees are colorful. A lovely little urban oasis worth visiting if you want a calm, scenic spot in the heart of Budapest.

It is a really cozy, modern square/playground to hang out :)) You can play soccer above the playground, where you can also have a great view of the beautiful surroundings. There are also toilets under the playground and a small museum?? (not sure about that) There are also a lot of benches where you can sit down and chat with your friends:))

Nice for kids and short hangout. Toilets in the bottom. Was clean and welcoming.

The newly built park gives you a real XXI Century experience! Streetball pitch on the Rooftop? Community House with slide for kids? The old Town Wall got a new life here alongside the playground and mini fountain ⛲
