Don’t leave your belongings here!!!! I had a very disappointing experience with this studio. I left my yoga mat there as many regulars do (the receptionist said I can leave it when I attended my first class there)! But when I returned to take it, I was told it had been “donated to charity” without my knowledge or consent. No one contacted me directly. Their justification? A social media post and an email they admit I likely never received due to an error on their side. Despite this, they still went ahead and gave away my personal property, which is an expensive yoga mat! Let’s be clear: donating someone else’s belongings without consent is not acceptable. Internal “rules” do not justify taking and giving away a customer’s property. To make matters worse, the staff was dismissive and refused to offer any form of resolution or compensation. Be very careful leaving your belongings here — they may be gone without warning, and you’ll be told it’s your fault.

Since their website and business name is English I expected they are more focust on foreigner community and to the very least have minor translations during the classes. The yoga teacher knew I didn't speak Hungarian but didn't offer to translate. Of course she doesn't have to, but I've been to smaller Hungarian yoga studio's where I pay half the price, where they did translated a bit without me asking. Its just what you get in these bigger yoga studio's; you lose personal connection. Also one more thing! The yoga studio overlooks a garden where people are drinking beer and its kind of awkward since they look at you constantly. Apart from this its a very nice studio with great decor, just don't expect any translations thats all. Update: 'From the outside, the people in the restaurant can maybe see some silhouettes but they cannot see you' This is not true, after sunset you can clearly see everyone near the window from the terrace. I've been there and people on the terrace were making fun of the yogi's, I didn't know it was THIS studio otherwise I would not have gone :D I was just happy I was not next to the window. If you don't want people to be disappointed just be honest on you

Returning to my practice after so many years, I was nervous. The Birds of Paradise team has been super welcoming and encouraging; they made me feel great about this decision. If you are thinking about starting Bikram as a complete beginner, or restarting like I am, I would highly recommend giving this studio a try. Transport couldn't be simpler, and the studio itself is pretty amazing! Five stars.

So far I've had the best yoga and pilates experience here in Budapest! Bikram yoga and hot pilates classes are super tough but extremely enjoyable. The instructor is there to help or teach you according to your level. All you can move is accepted from package XL, you get discounts if you bring a new person.
