As someone who’s passionate about visiting a barber in every country I travel to, I was really looking forward to experiencing a haircut in Hungary. I chose this shop because it was one of the higher rated and most reviews in the area, so I had fairly high expectations going in. Unfortunately, the haircut wasn’t what I was after. I showed the barber a reference photo and only wanted a small trim, taper fade and a bead trim. Much more length was taken off than I had asked for which is disappointing. But that’s part of the risk of trying new barbers while travelling. I also ended up with some fairly severe razor burn on my neck from the beard trim, which has been quite uncomfortable in the Budapest heat. That said, the barber himself was a genuinely great bloke. Had a great chat, and he shared some fantastic recommendations for hidden gems and places to visit. Those tips were really valuable, and ultimately this is why I travel rather than the haircuts being the main highlight. While I wasn’t happy with the haircut or the razor burn, I really appreciated the friendly service and local recommendations. Unfortunately, because of the haircut experience, I wouldn’t return.

My advice to who don’t go there before , think first! My experience with them was terrible. I admit their manner was decent enough, but what matters most is performance—and theirs was awful! Even while cutting my hair, he didn't take the job seriously; he kept chatting with his colleague, then would stubbornly resume cutting only to lose track of what he was doing. He was incredibly careless and wins the award for the worst barber I have ever encountered.

Avoid This Barbershop If You Value Your Time and Respect I gave this barbershop more than one chance, but both experiences were extremely disappointing. On March 23, I arrived on time for my appointment and still had to wait over 40 extra minutes. The barber I booked with showed no respect at all — he simply put on his coat and left without even acknowledging me. Another employee later told me I could either leave or choose another barber. No apology, no explanation, nothing. I decided to try this place one more time, hoping the service would improve. Unfortunately, today’s experience was even worse. I booked a haircut because the website clearly listed the price as 7,300 HUF. After the haircut was finished, the barber suddenly asked for 8,000 HUF instead. When I mentioned the website price, he said “the website is broken” and claimed he was a “master barber.” Changing the price after the service is completed is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Both experiences made me feel disrespected as a customer and especially uncomfortable as a foreigner. This place has serious issues with professionalism, communication, and honesty. I cannot recommend this barbershop to anyone

Would not recommend if you don't have a booking or if you are not local. I walked in and sat down for 15 minutes and none of the staff spoke to me. They say they take walk ins but there is absolutely no organisation or communication. They are either with clients or just playing on their phones. I had to approach a barber playing on his phone to ask if he can cut my hair and he just said no They seem to be victims of their own success, avoid.
