Bodrogi Kúria Wellness Hotel

The place is magnificent, nested in a small forest, surrounded by nature. Could be an excellent place to rest, celebrate a birthday or wedding close to Budapest, however the service was okay at best. After a long night celebrating our friend's wedding we were rudely woken up far too early in the morning to check out, despite paying for an extra day before arriving to recover and unwind. The rooms were kind of dirty and the soundproofing was nonexistant, we could hear every word and bang coming from the surrounding rooms and halls. The water in the showers was cold at times and we almost waited an hour for our meals in the restaurant. I would still recommend the place for a wedding however, just be prepared for some inconveniences

Staff was not very friendly and they made it a race how fast they can get you out of the restaurant. Spa most saunas where out of order, screaming children in the pool and people with bad hygiene. Not very relaxing. The location was perfect.

We have organized our wedding to Bodrogi kuria, and it did not disappoint! It was a hungarian-english wedding with many travelling. Perfect location as close to both airport and Budapest city centre. The staff were fab, very flexible and we felt all our needs were met! Highly recommend

One of the very best reviews I’ve ever written thus far:-) The staff is highly professional, very kind and helpful to the max! Bravo!!! Very clean place, tastefully decorated. Very good cocktails at the bar. Very nice location surrounded by woods, yet close to the city of Budapest and the airport. One of the favorites was the sauna with the ice cold bath tub, loved it!!!!

We had a good experience at this hotel, in particular we used it as our base to get to the f1 and from that perspective it suited our needs well. If you were going there purely for a holiday the location is quite remote, although for guests purely seeking wellness facilities I think that would suit them well. The rooms and hotel were nice but a bit dated. Excellent Finnish sauna with plunge pool, this was one of the highlights. Food wise , we found the breakfast and dinner options unfortunately to be considerably lacking in terms of flavour and quality of cooking. Overall a nice hotel however needs a bit more polishing and updating.
