First time here. Never had Hungarian food. I made my order. Service was good. Restaurant was clean. You have an option of sitting inside or outside. Food was good. I can't compare it to other Hungarian restaurants since it's my first time but I liked it. Meat was tender. Overall, good experience.

The food and atmosphere are great, and the prices are reasonable. In the photo: Szarvasragu dödöllével adag (3690 Ft) — Venison ragout with dödölle. Dödölle are traditional Hungarian potato dumplings pan-fried with onions. Sajtos-tejfölös Lángos adag (2990 Ft) — Lángos with sour cream and cheese. An absolute Hungarian street food classic — a deep-fried flatbread.

we stumbled upon this place by accident, but it was actually a nice surprise :) the food was great for perfect price, generous portions (come here starving or be ready to leave some space for dessert) and the staff was friendly too. we got chicken paprikash and a breaded chicken with potato salad, both dishes were delish if or when in Budapest — would totally stop by again :)

It's a nice place for a quick bite to eat. The portions are moderate and the prices are very good for a dinner in the city center. We paid for a chicken paprikash aprox 8 eur, a very very tasty and crunchy breaded chicken breast aprox 8 eur and a goulash 8 eur.

Yummy, yummy Hungarian food, our first time! While still finishing our meal, we were looking up recipes of goulash soup and chicken paprikas (with Hungarian cottage cheese noodles) that we can cook at home. Inviting and friendly atmosphere, relaxed and homey vibe. Menu with photos so helpful, and not overwhelming for a tourist. Not too costly like other places and seems the young locals also eat here. What a gem of a place, this Budapest Bites! Now off we go to find some Hungarian paprika to bring home … 😋
