After 2 hours wait we did not get seen my the vet, but neither did any of the other people who had been there for HOURS longer than us. There is a receptionist booth with no receptionist sitting there, extremely unprofessional. They randomly call people based on how important they feel the issue is. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE!!!!!!!

Dr. Horváth Ákos Extremely unsafe experience — not recommended for elderly, disabled, or cognitively impaired dogs. Our dog is 16 years old, has canine dementia, and uses a wheelchair for mobility. Despite these disabilities, she eats well, enjoys walks, plays, interacts with us, and shows no pain. Her quality of life is genuinely good, and she is a happy dog with strong will to live. However, at Budapesti Állatkórház, Dr. Horváth Ákos did not read her chart properly — he didn’t even address her by the correct sex — and within minutes he repeatedly told us: • “She should be euthanized.” • “You are torturing her.” It was a follow up visit for a continued treatment from a fall and seizure episode which she was in the right track of recovery. Although she slept a little more than usual she was eating/drinking fine and playing at home. He suggested euthanasia because she is old, has dementia, and uses a wheelchair — even though she has no pain and no terminal illness. These reasons had nothing to do with her prognosis from the fall. We did not go in there to fix her dimentia or to make her walk again. All he had to do was give her the IV as instructed. This is not veterinary medi

I have been in this clinic 3 times, all emergencies. Last 2 was within a month or so. The people working there are super nice, professional and caring for the animals. I always got my questions and concerns answered and Bella received a treatment needed. Will go back today for another steroid IV not as emergency because its quick and convenient. Yes the emergency fee after hours and on weekends is a lot extra but you get proper help anytime of the day and night.

Excellent care and service. They gave us regular updates while our cat had to stay for multiple nights. They even sent photos to show us how he was improving. The doctors speak English well also. Maybe the best veterinary hospital in the city, which could make it maybe the best in Hungary
