A time warp portal to the best part of classic 80s-ish sports bar, where regulars are actually athletes. Variety of warm foods, classic service. If you were not here in that era, must see. I will definitely go back next time I'm on the island. Pecan pie (!)

A kantin-kajáldában voltam,nyáron, mikor is a szigeten dolgoztam őrként. Kávézhattam vagy sörözhettem volna, beülhettem volna egy kólára is, ebből a munka miatt kávé&kóla maradt. Illetve elvitelre hoztam vagy hozattam napokon át az ebéd második menüjét, általában. De ki lehetett ülni,a napernyők alá, bent is lehetett maradni az épületben, plusz volt egy fedett sátras helység is kívül. Munka miatt ez nálam nem volt kivitelezhető. Kisvendéglői minőségű menzakajákkal találkoztam, de bár ilyen igényesség lenne mindenhol! egy leves 450,egy tökfőzelék fasírtal 900. Csirkecomb sütve, kukoricás rizzsel:1100 Ft.Tökéletes! Mindig van valami kis nyalánkság is, desszertnek. Azt gondolom, hogy aki feszélyezettség nélkül, egy kultúrált, egyszerű helyen szeretne enni akár csak egy fasírtos zsemlét, (a fasírtjuk isteni) annak tökéletes a hely.Kedves, családias kiszolgálás.A néni nagyon aranyos.A Sziget vezetőség fel-felbukkanó tagjai, a munkások,titkárnőféleségek, kajak világbajnokok, biztonsági őrök és éppen arra vetődők érdekes, kontrasztos társadalmi metszetet adnak :) 2019,Nyár....
