Jól elérhető helyen van. Gyönyörű barokk templom. Nagyon szép bensőséges Filoména szentmisén voltam ott. Tamási József atya (akinek idén lesz arany miséje) gyönyörű szentbeszédet mondta.

Galambossy Endre atyát most hallottam először, akit már sokan dicséretek. Hát teljes mértékben igazuk volt! Nagyon szép templom és évtizedek óta az első atya, aki rendeltetésszerűen használja a pulpitust is! Követendő példa, mint a beszéd, amit nem felolvasott, mint a legtöbb atya és annak mondandója is! Ritka az ilyen egyházi személy mostanság, kb a két kezemen meg tudom számolni.

Csodálatos hely. Első látásra itt minden rendben van. Szép tiszta rendezett a templom. Nagyszerü plébános, tájékozott, kiegyensúlyozott, életvidám, aki szépen, értelmesen beszél. Van mondanivalója a hiveinek, akik csodálatos közösségi életet élnek. Ismerik egymást, figyelnek egymásra. Élvezet itt szentmisét hallgatni.

Az első katolikus templom Rákoscsabán. 1740-ben épült Nepomuki Szent János tiszteletére. A templom mai formáját 1762-ben nyerte el, akkor építették újjá. Egyhajós barokk stílusú templom. A szentély seccóján a Szentháromság csodálatos ábrázolása, és a négy evangélista látható. A seccón kívül meg kell említeni a templom oltárát, amelyet régi okmányok szerint a budavári Zsigmond kápolnából helyeztek át Rákoscsabára. Történelmi értékű alkotás még a szószék és a keresztelőkút, valamint a Szeplőtelen Szüzet ábrázoló olajfestmény. A templom teljes felújítása 1996-ban készül el.

Érdekes, hogy ebben a nagyszerű barokk templomban a pap még a szép szószékről prédikálja a fontos gondolatokat.

Többször megfordultam már ebben a templomban, hiszen sokszor lehetőséget ad a tiszteletes atya a Rotunda Kórus hangversenyeinek.
