A barokk templom 1753-1770 között épült egy korábbi Ágoston rendi templom helyén, amit a törökök pusztítottak el. 1785-ben II. József feloszlatta az Ágoston rendieket és a templomot, valamint a kolostort a Ferences rend kapta meg. Többször is átépítették és bővítették. Freskóit 1884-ben készítették. A templom belső szépen díszített, de nem túlzóan, sok helyen a falak egyszerű fehérek. Szépek az oldal oltárfülkék és képek is. Orgonája 1843-ban épült, Johann Lojb munkája.

Nice church, but just main door open, you don't know see around because is closed inside.

It's a small church filled with lots of love specially at Christmas time.

Good people, this is a very average building with not much to see. But looks can deceive. This place is the center and HQ of the franciscan catholic order in Hungary. Probably one of the most important places in the Hungarian catholic church. The place where the prime minister’s daughter got married. So if you are interested in a place where things are decided, stop by.
