Rude staff at the checkout. I have experienced this not once. Yesterday it was my last time I went to this store. Two cashier women refused to process my purchase and didn’t even explain why. I felt the mean and rude attitude towards me. Don’t recommend going there! Products are also overpriced and once they tried to charge me twice for one product, but I noticed it and pointed it out. Very bad service!

This place is close to where we live, so me and my husband go here very often. Their prices are usually higher than other markets like Spar but there are some stuff we buy from here when we only need to pick up a few things. My husband (black American) told me a couple of times that he was kind of followed around but he didn’t want to make a quick judgement but the other day it went too far when my husband came home from REAL devastated because the security guard followed him around without paying attention to anyone else in the shop. When he tried to talk to the management, asked for an apology, they insisted that there was nothing wrong and did not apologize to him. Mind you we’ve been going to this place for more than 6-7 months. We’ve spent a good deal of money here but they need to revise their employees ethics and treat EVERY customer with RESPECT. I (Turkish) have been to this store more than my husband and never once been followed. If that doesn’t prove the racism in this act then I don’t know what will!

I sometimes shop at this store because it very near to my home. Even though the products in here are usually slightly more expensive than Spar, I go here because they have a nice cheese bread and tuna at around 570 HUF. However, I will not be shopping here any more because the staff is rude and discriminatory, particularly the manager and security guard. On Tuesday, March 19, I went to the store to buy the things I mentioned before. It was meant to be a short run to the store because I was rushing to get things for my wife to cook for dinner. After being in the store for only 5 or 7 minutes, I was almost finished with my purchase and as I was getting my last thing, the tall security guard was standing directly behind me. Now, I am a Black American. I am familiar with the unjust suspicion that security guards have here in Hungary regarding black people in grocery stores because I have been followed around stores before not only in Hungary, but in Serbia, Albania, Turkey, and Bosnia (other places I have lived). Plus, I have seen security guards follow other black people in the stores here in Hungary (such as the Spar on Mester u. 1, 1092). To add even more information, I have confron

Decent selection of inventory. Prices are much higher than larger stores of course. Water and some small items are good here for me but I do my grocery shopping in more affordable, larger stores. Cashiers are friendly sometimes if they're in the mood. Convenient location. Worth it to visit if you're in the area.
